Full payment is due upon check-in. You can check out any time up until 11:00 a.m. local time. Later check-out times may be requested, although we may not always be able to accommodate late changes depending on availability.

At check-out time, please drop keys into the key slot located on the office door. Please note there may be a $10 fee charged for keys not returned. To avoid late penalties, please let us know when you check out. A detailed inspection of the bunk is usually made after the check-out time, and we reserve the right to make charges on the card on file for any damages or breakages found before the bunk is reoccupied.

The security deposit should be released by your credit card issuing bank automatically within 3 workdays, but in some cases up to 15–21 days. The security deposit/pre-authorization is not held by Apple Tree Inn. Please return bed linen and towels to their original locations. These items are not gifts and should remain in the room. Pool towels for the hot springs are available upon request at the front desk.

Cancellation Policy

Please carefully read our cancellation policy. Rarely can we make exceptions to this policy. Our receptionists are instructed to follow these rules strictly:

  • If the guest cancels more than 72 hours in advance, the total amount of the reservation will be refunded.
  • If the guest cancels less than 72 hours in advance, the full reservation is non-refundable.
  • In case of a no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged and is non-refundable.
  • To cancel a reservation, the guest must call Apple Tree Inn. Cancellations cannot be made via email, message, or through a third-party system.
  • Cancellations made over the phone will be confirmed via email upon request.

Pets

PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN OUR HOSTEL.

Smoking Policy and Damages

Smoking or vaping (including cannabis) of any kind is not permitted anywhere on the property. Any smoking inside or lingering smoke scents will result in a $300 cleaning fee.

PLEASE ONLY USE OUR DESIGNATED SMOKING AREAS. Do not smoke on decks or directly outside of rooms. If unsure where these areas are, please ask at the front desk.

Damages

During your stay, please treat the apartment and all equipment with care and return everything to its original location. Report any damages or breakages immediately. You (the guest) are financially responsible for any damage to the bunk(s) you rent, including those caused by negligence.

A summary check is done during cleaning, and any damages beyond normal wear and tear will be charged to the card on file. You will receive a detailed statement and invoice for any repair or replacement costs via email or text.

Apple Tree Inn will take necessary action to ensure all facilities are functioning as expected. Damages or excessive cleaning will result in charges to your credit card.

Important

When making a reservation, you are booking a bunk type (not a specific bunk). Interior design and layout may vary. Reservations are only confirmed upon receipt of a confirmation email from appletreeinnradium@gmail.com.

Extending Your Stay

You may extend your stay (subject to availability) by notifying the front desk before check-out time (11:00 a.m.). We’ll do our best to accommodate, which may include relocating you to a similar bunk if necessary.

Damage Policy

We want you to have a great time! However, if property damage or missing items occur, they will be charged to your credit card at market value. Pre-existing damages must be reported immediately upon check-in to avoid charges.

We are not responsible for packages or deliveries left at the property. Quiet hours are from 11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.

Kitchen Policy

Practice safe cooking habits: never leave burners unattended, and avoid cooking with strong-smelling ingredients. Lingering odors requiring deep cleaning may incur up to a $250 cleaning fee.

Please clean and put away items used in common areas. Guests are responsible for washing their own dishes.

Parking Policy

Parking is available near your room. Guests park at their own risk—the hotel assumes no liability for damage or theft. Security cameras monitor the lot; report any issues to the front desk. Extended parking requires prior approval and may not be available during peak season.

Cleaning Policy

Room refreshes are available upon request. Requests must be made by 9:00 p.m. the night before.

Firearms Policy

Guests possessing firearms must comply with all applicable laws. Failure to do so may result in removal from the property without refund. This policy applies to all firearms and all guests or visitors. Only on-duty law enforcement and designated military personnel are exempt.

Guest Safety Policy

For guest privacy, staff will not disclose guest identity, room number, or presence to anyone other than law enforcement. Guests must communicate their room number to anyone expecting to contact them. Security cameras are in use throughout the property. The hotel assumes no responsibility for personal injury—use facilities at your own risk.
